Terms and Conditions for staying at Vultures View

Check-in and Check-out times
The general check in time is after 14h00 on the day of arrival and check out by 10h00 on day of departure. However, these times are negotiable depending on other bookings. Your cooperation in this regard will assist us in providing a good service to the next guests to arrive. Early departure does not entitle guests to a refund.

Cancellation and no show policy
Once a deposit has been received, we unfortunately cannot refund your deposit, but we will give you the option to take up your booking at any other time that will suit both parties. However, we reserve the right to change this policy in the case of last minute cancellations, over long weekends, festivals and other popular weekends whereby you might forfeit your payment or part thereof depending on the notice period.

Indemnity
The owners of Vultures View, its employees and/or agents do not accept liability for any loss and/or damage and/or injury to any personal items and/or person for any reason whatsoever. Sufficient travel & medical insurance is therefore strongly advised.

Right of admission
Right of admission is reserved. We regret no children under the age of three years can be accommodated. We do not permit the number of guests to exceed the number of beds per unit. We do not allow sharing of beds by adults and children.

Keys
Any lost keys or keys not returned will result in locks & keys being replaced and guests held accountable for such charges. This is in the interest of security.

Breakages
We work on a system of trust and should any items be broken accidentally, we rely on you to deposit money into the “Honesty box” to replace these broken items.

Smoking
In the interest of the comfort of all of our guests, we do not permit smoking in the cottage. Ashtrays are provided and these are to be used outside only. No cigarette butts are to be thrown into the plants, garden or veld. A bin is provided outside to dispose of cigarette butts. Thanks for your understanding.

Pets
We are sorry, but pets are not permitted.

Servicing
Should guests wish the cottage to be serviced daily; this can be arranged at an additional cost to be paid directly to the service provider. This service must be arranged in advance.

Recycling
Vultures View is situated on an eco-estate where we promote sustainable living practices. To this end, all waste must be recycled in the appropriate bins provided.

Bergview Homeowners’ Association (BHOA) rules
Vultures View is situated on a private estate and all rules of the Bergview Homeowners’ Association applies. Rules are made available in the cottage.

Conditions for use of this website
